Quick Answer: SLN/CR TensionCore™ is a precision-tensioned acoustic wall system for indoor sport and performance environments. A two-piece hinged track with a rotating compression-lock profile holds tensioned fabric over an acoustical substrate — delivering high absorption, clean architectural lines, and field-replaceable fabric across hundreds of finish options.

    Engineered for Performance Environments

Four engineering principles that separate TensionCore from traditional fabric wall systems.

    Engineered High-Tension Surface

Uniform fabric tension across large spans for a clean, flat, monolithic appearance — no sag, no waves, no compromise.

    Rotating Compression-Lock Profile

Two-piece hinged track rotates from open to closed, locking fabric in place. Positive locking and full unlock capability for service access.

    Direct-Mount to CMU or Substrates

Designed to install directly on concrete masonry units, drywall, or structural substrates — no furring or framing required.

    Customizable Fabric Finishes

Hundreds of fabric options. Field-replaceable fabric — swap the look without rebuilding the wall. Approved as an equal to most specified fabric-wall systems.

    How the Hinged Track Works

TensionCore's two-piece design is what makes it different. The base track installs first, anchoring the system to the substrate. The outer profile snaps into the base, forming a working hinge on one side and a locking catch on the other.

Fabric placed over the outer edge stretches as the profile rotates from open to closed — locking taut and uniform across the full span. Need access for service or a fabric refresh? The same profile unlocks cleanly without damaging the install.

The result: a clean, flat, monolithic wall with high acoustic absorption — and the ability to swap the fabric whenever you want.

    Seven Edge Profile Options

Specify the profile that matches your design intent — square, radius, or bevel — across three depth options.

    TensionCore 1-1/16" Square Edge profile

    1-1/16" Square Edge

    TensionCore 1-1/16" Radius Edge profile

    1-1/16" Radius Edge

    TensionCore 1-1/16" Bevel Edge profile

    1-1/16" Bevel Edge

    TensionCore 9/16" Square Edge profile

    9/16" Square Edge

    TensionCore 9/16" Radius Edge profile

    9/16" Radius Edge

    TensionCore 7/16" Square Edge profile

    7/16" Square Edge

1-1/16" profiles work with 1" acoustical substrate. The extra 1/16" helps cover irregularities in panel thickness.

    Installation in Three Disciplined Steps

Track first, then fabric, then corners. Master the sequence and the results are repeatable.

    01

    Track

Install verticals first, then horizontals. Butt joints bridged by the outer track for a seamless length. Strategic setbacks at corners create the cavity that hides excess fabric.

    02

    Fabric

Position fabric along the topmost track, follow the thread line, and trim to 1.5–2 inches beyond the edge. Fold under the outer profile and rotate-close to tension and lock.

    03

    Corners

Pull excess diagonally into the corner cavity. Use a dull broadknife to push fabric cleanly against outside edges. For inset panels, use the float, sash-cord, or open-track techniques in the install guide.
